God on Trial Series

 

The God on Trial movement began at the White Rock BC SDA church with a series of sermons on the character of God, when seven different presenters shared different facets of God’s pure character of love. This is a powerful introduction to the concept that it is God’s character that is on trial at this time.

 

Don Anderson is a follower of Jesus Christ. He and his wife Carole have two children and live in BC, Canada. Don is bi-vocational: he is the Pastor of the White Rock Seventh-Day Adventist Church and Owner of a Snap-On Tools Franchise. Don loves facilitating discussions.

Ozzie Grant became a Bible believing Christian in 1976 and has since been an avid and passionate student of the Bible. His greatest passion is to share Jesus Christ’s pre-eminent and unique revelation of God. He is a retired businessman and has two sons who are ordained ministers in the Seventh-day Adventist Church.

Since encountering Jesus Christ in a very personal way in 2003, Denice Grant has given herself completely to the cause of lifting Him up. She shares Ozzie’s passion for the study of the Bible and together they are actively involved in ministry. She is a pianist and singer, and holds a doctorate degree in piano performance from the University of Washington. Denice has two children who are also musicians.

Twenty years ago Bill Wong asked, “what happened to the dinosaurs?”  This question led him to read the Bible and eventually meet Jesus. He has been a believer and a follower ever since. Bill and his wife Iris have two daughters whom they have homeschooled. Sparked by Bill’s first love for Jesus, the Wong family has committed itself to following and sharing Jesus where ever they are called.

Linda Rothenburger’s passion is the study of the Bible, and prayer is her ministry. She leads an active prayer team in her local church.  She is a semi-retired travel consultant and has travelled the world extensively. She has two grown children.

Kazuo Yoshitake works for an international trading public company  based in Tokyo.  He is the CEO and President for the US, Canada, Central and South American region operations. His passion is to know Jesus Christ and to share with those who desire to study together and see the world through newly-opened eyes. Kazuo and his wife Keiko have two sons.

Kae Woodland has been blessed to be born into a family that knew and loved God. She is an avid reader and student of the Bible. Kae works in the food industry, and in her spare time she loves to garden and to travel with her husband Brad.
